Slominski Projects is pleased to host the online platform of Fantasy Detail by Sam Jevon. This exhibition archive will share the collaborative creations and will be updated regularly with new artworks.
Sam Jevon is an artist with Submit to Love, a collective of self-taught artists - all of whom have survived brain injuries. Fantasy Detail was made in collaboration with curator Lisa Slominski. A regular guest at the East London studio, Lisa virtually collaborated with Sam to transform her drawings into a colouring book for others to enjoy while in isolation due to the Covid-19 crisis.
The theme of alternate ways of communication is ominpresent globally with current closures and instructions to stay home. Artists from the Submit to Love Studios have been implementing and exploring alternative communication as part of their daily lives. Through Fantasy Detail we invite all participants not only to colour but to share a thought or feeling in each creation.
